Protesters stormed the Capitol just moments after President Trump urged them to 'march on Congress' at the 'Save America' rally in Washington DC. Other Trump supporters could be seen sitting in the Senate chamber and inside the offices of congress members. The National Guard has now been called in, and protesters stormed the building, and the mayor of Washington, DC, ordered a 6pm curfew. Trump supporters waving pro-Trump banners and American flags walked toward the steps of the Capitol building. At the Lincoln Memorial, dozens of Trump supporters stood on the steps with large Trump flags.
