The lights of the Empire State Building will glow violet tonight, May 16, to salute NYU’s graduating class. Beginning at dusk and through 2 a.m., graduates near and far will be able to view the lights of the tower through the Empire State Building webcam. The violet lights come a day before NYU’s 190th All-University Commencement Exercises, which will be held Wednesday, May 17, in Yankee Stadium.
