The winners in 2023– We honour UiO's very best researchers, communicators and teachers through these awards. – UiO are incredibly grateful and proud to have these employees, who contribute to ground-breaking and important research, education, innovation, and sissemination. The winners in 2023

– We honour UiO's very best researchers, communicators and teachers through these awards. These five award winners show that long-term, targeted and hard work contributes to competence and knowledge that benefits us all. I am looking forward to presenting the awards at UiO's annual party in September, says rector Svein Stølen.

Vice-rector Åse Gornitzka leads the awards committee which is responsible for the appointments.

– UiO are incredibly grateful and proud to have these employees, who contribute to ground-breaking and important research, education, innovation, and sissemination. Research is the lifeblood of UiO, and these awards mean a lot to us. I warmly congratulate all the winners, she says.

About the University Board Awards

The University of Oslo annually awards five awards for research, young researchers, education, dissemination, and innovation.

The awards are given as a recognition of outstanding efforts and aim to stimulate increased activity and inspire the academic communities at the University of Oslo. Each winner received 250,000 NOK and a work of art.
