PixabayThe Oslo Summer School of Social Sciences offers PhD online courses in the social science field.
As part of this summer school, a team of Oslo-based historians and sociologists invites PhD students to a course on Nordic Civil Society – A Model for the World?, taught from 5 to 9 July.
The course comprises lectures and seminars on themes including comparison in history and sociology, the role of voluntary associations in society, the ‘Nordic model’, and Nordic engagement in the Global South.
The deadline for applications is 15 April 2021.
The fee for this course is 4.000 NOK. Students who complete the course successfully will be awarded 8 ECTS credits.
