Cyber security company CrowdStrike has admitted to being responsible for the error that hit Microsoft 365 apps and operating systems and said a 'fix has been deployed'. 'Somewhere between the two there's been a problem which has caused what is an absolutely unprecedented global outage. He suggested there could be more diversity in use of different operating systems. One traveller at Gatwick Airport said he had been queuing for more than three-and-a-half hours ahead of a flight to Miami, Florida. Student Jack O'Leary, who was queuing for a Ryanair flight to Dublin to go on holiday, said: 'We're quite understanding - it's a global outage and everything's pretty chaotic.'
