The duration of study is one year and is taken alongside the master's programme or professional study you are attending, which means you must have extra work capacity. The teaching is organized so that it will not overlap with other teaching.

Programme structure

The Honours Certificate will give 20 credits and includes the following four courses, Introduction to Innovation in Life Sciences, Business Tools, Introduction to the Life Science Start-Up World and Project Work.

Through lectures, seminars and project-based learning in interdisciplinary teams, you will learn to identify and develop ideas from life science research into new products and services.

The certificate is offered by Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo, but students from all faculties are encouraged to apply.
