About the role

The Specialist, Workforce Insights provides effective strategic and operational support to the Director, Organisational Performance. The role is responsible for designing and delivering our employee surveys across the employee lifecycle (e.g. onboarding, exit, parental leave), as well as employee engagement and ad-hoc pulse check surveys. As a specialist in turning data into insights and generating powerful storytelling, this role will engage with stakeholders across the organisation to assist in elevating staff recognition, engagement and performance at the University. Previous experience in HR as an advisor or manager is desired.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated expertise in Human Resources data analytics with advanced excel skills and confidence in interpreting complex data.
  • Expert at leveraging data analytics to gain insights, measure progress, evaluate outcomes, to continuously improve OP initiatives and strategies.
  • Proficiency in data analysis for deriving insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
  • High level oral and written communication skills in storytelling and visualisation to share insights.
  • Ability to influence at all levels across the organisation with exceptional relationship building and consultation skills, to deliver successful outcomes within agreed timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks against competing demands and to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups/Indexing), and the ability to create charts, spreadsheets, and presentations (PowerPoint & Word).
