The mathematics education research conducted within the department focuses on the learning and teaching of children, adolescents and adults, with a strong connection to the professional development of teachers and teacher students. The projects focus on a range of areas, such as the digitalisation of mathematics education, mathematics assignments, cognitive activation and teachers’ planning practices.
