At the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, at the Sahlgrenska Academy, we conduct research and education covering a wide range of knowledge areas. The institute comprises five different departments: Clinical Neuroscience, Health and Rehabilitation, Pharmacology, Physiology and Psychiatry and Neurochemistry.

The Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, invites applications for a hourly based Researcher position at the Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry.

The recruiting research group Neurochemical pathophysiology and diagnostics conducts extensive research on biomarkers for neurodegenerative diseases. Many of these biomarkers are used in clinical trials.

Duties

Coordination of clinical drug studies within the research group, which includes study planning and work with contracts in collaboration with GU's lawyers, Sahlgrenska University Hospital and the pharmaceutical companies.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in coordinating biomarker work within clinical drug trials is a requirement. Applicants must have a Phd in a subject area suitable for the employment. Important for the employment is good cooperative skills and personal suitability.

Employment

The employment is hourly based and limited (temporary) for 11 months. You will work on hours when needed. The employment is placed at the Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology. Starting date: as soon as possible or as agreed.
