The Faculty of Arts and Humanities – which is one of five faculties at Linnaeus University – is a dynamic, flexible, and international knowledge environment engaged in both scholarly and artistic activity in a wide range of subjects in the arts and humanities. We build complete academic environments, where the interaction between education, research, and collaboration creates a driving force for quality at the university and in the wider community.
Digital humanities is part of the Department of Cultural Sciences, which includes subjects such as archaeology, library and information science, history, human and physical geography, cultural sociology, and religious studies. Education in digital humanities is offered at the master's and doctoral levels. To contribute to the development of digital humanities, we are now looking for a researcher to work within the projects Huminfra and DARIAH-EU. Huminfra is a national Swedish infrastructure for digital and experimental humanities, and DARIAH-EU is a European infrastructure for the arts and humanities.
