The University of Adelaide engages a range of individuals to provide research, teaching and other services.

As HR Quality and Compliance Officer you'll act as the first point of contact for compliance queries; you'll work closely with stakeholders across University of Adelaide's Divisions and Faculties to identify and address compliance issues, using sound judgement to triage and refer to the appropriate pathways as required.

Developing an in-depth understanding of our HR policies and governance processes, you'll be monitoring key HR Quality and Compliance initiatives and procedures that ensure compliance risks are identified and effectively managed across the University.

Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Lead, you'll offer administrative and advisory support to the team taking a big picture approach to manage quality and compliance efficiently and proactively across our HR systems and processes.

We're looking for someone bringing:

  • Previous HR experience in a large and diverse organisation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the confidence to advise and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability in providing advice and assistance on a range of complex policies and procedures.
  • Confidence in analysing and providing advice based on HR metrics, in line with business practices and requirements.
  • Strong initiative with proven ability to identify and bring a solution- oriented approach to solve operational problems.
  • Highly proficient computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications including PowerBI as well as confidence with HR systems and databases.
