Department of Plasma Physics and Technology (formerly the Institute of Physical Electronics) at the Faculty of Science of MU University provides courses and guarantees basic and applied research in the fields of plasma physics, plasma applications and nanotechnology. It has a tradition of more than 50 years. The CEPLANT Research and Development Centre for Plasma and Nanotechnology Surface Treatments was established in 2010 as part of the Institute of Physical Electronics and was funded by European Structural Funds and recognised as a Key Technology Centre (KET) by the European Union.
Job Description
The post-doc will be working within the research group Deposition of Thin films and Nanostructures, especially in PVD laboratory of research centre CEPLANT. She/he will be responsible for characterization of laboratory and industrial deposition plasmas. She/he will cooperate with his colleagues on measurement, evaluation of experimental data and preparation of publications. We expect her/his involvement in projects of the group and her/his independent preparation of MSCA project if he/she is eligible to promote the postdoc's career growth. He/she will also work and provide consultations for bachelor, master and PhD students.
