The School of Economics and Public Policy, renowned for its excellence in research, teaching and engagement in Economics and Public Policy, invites candidates to apply for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and teach courses in areas such as econometrics, macroeconomics, data analysis, and quantitative methods. The successful candidate will work alongside world-class researchers in a collegial and respectful environment to support your research and teaching.
We are looking for candidates who have a PhD in economics, with a preference for candidates demonstrating strong quantitative skills in the areas of microeconomics, and econometrics, or macroeconomics, - e.g. environment economics, health economics, labour economics, resource economics, behavioral economics or development economics. Successful candidates will actively contribute to economic research and effectively teach quantitative economics courses.
Candidates should have a strong research record and demonstrated teaching excellence, to carry out or lead research, scholarship, and professional activities. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence in published research, teaching, and attract external funding for research. The School welcomes applications from diverse backgrounds.
