The PostThe University of Stirling is seeking to appoint an outstanding Psychologist (Teaching & Scholarship) in the Faculty of Natural Sciences to cover maternity leave teaching replacement. The post holder will be involved in the teaching, coordination, and development of our BPS accredited programmes. We welcome applications from psychologists working across areas of neuroscience, developmental psychology, evolutionary/comparative psychology, cognition, social psychology, or qualitative/quantitative methods who are focussed on providing an outstanding student experience.
Applicants with experience of teaching international students or Masters-level teaching are particularly encouraged to apply.
As well as teaching responsibilities, the post holder will supervise final year dissertation research, act as personal tutor to our students, engage in pedagogical research and scholarship on student engagement and effective community building, and play an active role in sharing expertise across the Faculty and University.
The successful applicant will also be expected to deliver innovative and engaging teaching (e.g., on the Psychology Undergraduate and Taught Postgraduate, including Conversion, programmes) and to contribute to the on- going development of the Division. The area of individual expertise is open.

The Faculty of Natural Sciences (FNS) encompasses the Divisions of Biological and Environmental Sciences, Computing Science and Mathematics, Psychology, and the Institute of Aquaculture.
