(HE05) $77,409 to $86,072 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

No library experience required. Applications are invited from candidates who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander who have a completed a degree in any discipline.

An exciting opportunity to build skills and knowledge and work across a wide range of services provided by the University Library.

This position provides an opportunity to contribute to the diverse activities that the Library supports including Ask Library, academic support, collection development, records services and special collections. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work within different teams via a rotational program supporting a range of operational and project activities.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated written, verbal and interpersonal skills to enable effective and appropriate communication and interactions with intended audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a productive team member, working collaboratively and proactively within own team and across the Library and wider University.
  • Ability to take initiative and provide solutions through logical, creative, and innovative thinking to deliver customer focussed outcomes.
  • High level of accuracy, judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to follow complex tasks to their completion, escalating as required.
