Casual Vet Nurse Opportunities - Available immediately.

Qualified Veterinary Nurses - short and long term periods available.

Work with a supportive and motivated group of vets, nurses and students in an accredited Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

The Roseworthy Veterinary Hospital is located on the University of Adelaide's Roseworthy Campus, surrounded by great lifestyle opportunities including the Barossa Valley, sporting activities, benchmark schools and shopping facilities.

To be successful you will need:

  • A Vet Nurse Certificate IV qualification with minimum 2 years' experience.
  • Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoy working effectively with a diverse range of clients and team members.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and experience in assisting, teaching or mentoring others.
  • Demonstrated high level written communication skills to keep detailed, accurate medical records and write professional referral letters and client correspondence.

  • The opportunity to work in the Small Animal Department (Emergency and Critical Care, General Practice, Surgery and Anaesthesia, Medicine)
  • Various casual shifts on a 24/7 roster available
  • $40.88 per hour plus an employer contribution of 12% superannuation applies.
  • Loadings between 15% and 40% apply when working outside the normal span of hours in accordance with the University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement.
