Leadership and Governance Theme The position is part of an ambitious government investment initiative in the Social Sciences and Humanities (www. sectorplan-ssh.nl), translated within FEB into five societally relevant and strategic themes in research, education, and for creating impact. One of these themes is “Leadership and Governance,” which focuses, broadly, on leadership processes and governance issues in organizations, see https: // www. rug.nl/research/gradschool-economics-and- business/phd-programme/prospective-phd/themes/leadership-and- governance?lang=e. The assistant professor is expected to contribute to teaching and research within this theme from an Organizational Behavior perspective. However, given the interdisciplinary nature of the themes, the candidate should be able to integrate this expertise with insights from other disciplines.
