The department of Computer Science and Engineering is a fully integrated department with the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology as principles. The department offer courses in a broad range of subjects.
The department of Computer Science and Engineering is looking for amanuens/teaching assistant for study period 4 during spring semester 2025 to work with courses within the fields of Computer network and systems, Data Science and AI and Software Engineering.
Job assignmentsAs an amanuens/teaching assistant, you will work with helping and supporting teachers with practical elements in the different courses. This could for example be lab and exercise tutoring. You will have regular contact with the teachers about which elements and practical moments you can be of help within.

Computer network and systems LEU481 Programutveckling, course language Swedish, campus Lindholmen EDA216/DIT792 Grundläggande datorteknik, course language Swedish, campus Johanneberg
Data Science and AI DAT475/DIT930 Advanced databases, course language English, campus Johanneberg

QualificationsTo be qualified for the position you are an active student at University of Gothenburg or Chalmers University of Technology, preferably studying in one of the institution's BSc or MSc level programmes. To be qualified for the position in a course you should have passed either the same or a similar course. To be qualified for the position you should have good knowledge in the language used in the courses you apply for, that is, English and/or Swedish, both spoken and written.
To be able to complete your work as amanuens/teaching assistant you will need to be in Gothenburg, Sweden and be able to perform work tasks at campus Johanneberg or campus Lindholmen.
it is a merit to have completed related continuation courses. It is also a merit if you have experience of teaching and are skilled in instructing and helping people in a pedagogical way.
We will make an overall assessment where great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
