Position Status Part Time Department President General Summary Odessa College is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Student Worker Bookstore Clerk to support daily operations within the campus bookstore. This unique role combines retail sales for Wrangler Outfitters with food service support for Wrangler Kitchen's Grab & Go, creating a dynamic and engaging environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and enjoys working with both merchandise and food service in a fast-paced campus setting. Specific Position Duties Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitorsAssist customers with retail purchases, including apparel, school supplies, and merchandiseOperate point-of-sale (POS) system for both retail and food transactionsStock, organize, and merchandise Wrangler Outfitters productsRestock and maintain Wrangler Kitchen Grab & Go items, ensuring freshness and presentationMaintain cleanliness and organization of retail and food service areasAssist with receiving, inventory, and product displaysSupport promotions, special events, and seasonal merchandisingFollow all food safety and sanitation guidelinesWork collaboratively with bookstore, Wrangler Outfitters, and Wrangler Kitchen teams Minimum Qualifications Part-time hours (up to 19 hours per week) Operating hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Saturday hours: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Schedule will vary within operating hours and may include mornings, afternoons, and occasional Saturdays Preferred Qualifications Annual Salary Hiring Range Work Hours
