Position Details
Wesleyan University is implementing Workday for our Human Resources, Finance, and Student offices. The Human Resources and Finance implementation will start in May 2023 and include Benefits, Faculty Governance, and Payroll. The Student Implementation is expected to start in January 2025 and will take approximately 2 years to complete. Wesleyan has contracted with a certified Workday Implementation Partner to provide expertise and direction during both implementations.
Reporting to the Workday Project Manager/Senior Director, they will focus on engaging campus stakeholders to ensure campus-wide participation and understanding. Additionally, the Change Manager will help ensure an effective partnership between Wesleyan's own implementation teams and our certified Implementation Partners.
Through Workday training or prior experience, the Change Manager will have a general understanding of Workday processes, workflow, and reporting. They will leverage that understanding to promote community engagement, awareness, and adoption overall.

Documentation is critical to the overall success of the Workday Implementation. The Change Manager will both create documentation and facilitate the creation of documentation with the project leads for departmental use.

This position is a hybrid position with on-campus and remote work schedules. Remote work is only considered for residents of MA, VT, NH, ME, CT, RI, or NY. (Relocation assistance to CT is available for those who qualify).
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in Project/Change Management, in leading change in technical and cross-functional projects with a minimum of 4 years' experience.
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Excellent communication skills, including presenting to diverse constituent groups, from students to senior leadership.
Excellent interpersonal skills leveraged to build trust and foster collaboration.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to prioritize projects and multiple demands while working quickly and effectively.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
Demonstrated ability to provide superior client service to all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated commitment to work within a diverse environment and interact collegially with individuals of different backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience implementing Workday in Higher Education
Experience with software life cycle and project management tools.
Prosci Change Management Certification
Experience using Service Now or Jira for change management/project management
