About This Opportunity
This role is crucial to our inbound medical student programme, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and efficient administrative support. Key responsibilities include managing a variety of administrative tasks, resolving day-to-day operational issues, and ensuring the seamless upkeep of administrative systems. The position requires providing outstanding customer service by offering friendly, accurate, and informative guidance to applicants, as well as professional and academic staff
Key responsibilities will include:
Deliver accurate and timely information and advice to staff and applicants, ensuring clarity and helpfulness in all communications.
Manage the processing of incoming elective applications and collaborate with Clinical Units to ensure suitable placements are arranged smoothly.
Maintain precise records of student placements and verify compliance with placement requirements, supporting effective administration of the inbound medical student programme.
This position reports to the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Advisor.

About You
Experience in student administration and/or education/training.
Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, handle sensitive and confidential matters, negotiate successful outcomes and work effectively as a team member
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide accurate, clear and consistent advice
Strong organisational skills, and demonstrated ability to prioritise own workload, meet deadlines and work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of computer systems and packages e.g. Microsoft office
It is desirable to have a sound understanding of key administrative processes relevant to the student placements for both undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students.
It is desirable to have completed an undergraduate degree
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre- employment checks, including right to work in Australia, criminal check.
