About You
We are seeking a dedicated Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer to join our team in the STEM College. This role is pivotal in providing academic and student support for WIL across Health & Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, Computing Technologies and Science Programs.
The WIL Officer will be responsible for providing academic and student support for Work Integrated Learning in the STEM College. The role will carry out regular monitoring of WIL programs, respond to student queries, communicate with relevant professionals both internally and externally and maintain relevant University databases. This role may occasionally be required to work non-standard hours to meet critical deadlines and leave restriction may apply during peak periods.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to support multiple and diverse clients, stakeholders and industry partners.
Excellent organizational and proven time management skills along with the ability to work to deadlines; prioritise activities, manage competing priorities and respond to ad hoc and time critical deadlines.
Proficiency in database management and administrative tasks, with a high attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to be proactive and show initiative, to work independently and be an effective team member.
Flexibility to adapt to varying work hours and peak period demands.

Centralised in the STEM College Office, at our City and Bundoora campuses, professional staff members have opportunities to cross-skill, engage in professional development and develop their own career paths.
