Position Title Welding Adjunct Instructor (Cherokee)

Division Instruction Department Corporate College Job Description This position is responsible for teaching Welding and related courses at the WITCC CHEROKEE campus. Courses are assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabi.

  • Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning style of students.
  • Evaluates and reports student performance and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures.
  • Must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures.

    • Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of industry experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication and human relation skills.
  • Welcome, value, and nurture people of all backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, as well as support and promote an environment that accepts differences.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Welding degree.
  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • American Welding Society Certified Welding Inspector/Welding Educator.
