  • Student Recruitment and Admissions within the Students Directorate are seeking to appoint a Web and Digital Coordinator to join our busy Web and Digital team. The role will provide the necessary administrative and editorial support for the team to maintain and develop www. kingston.ac.uk, the University's primary external marketing, recruitment and communications channel.

    You will be responsible for processing daily web updates and will support our Web Editors with work on larger projects. You will work with the wider team on a range of tasks including uploading content and maintaining digital assets. You will also be responsible for producing web traffic reports using Google Analytics (GA4)

    This is an exciting time to join our web team, in line with the University's Town House Strategy, we are about to undertake the redesign and development of an ambitious and innovative new website. You will a provide the necessary administrative and editorial support to help the project team deliver a product that enhances the user experience, optimizes the University's digital presence, aligns with brand identity and delivers on project goals.

    The Person

    We are seeking a highly motivated and articulate individual, with a ‘can-do' attitude, who has excellent verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills together with an excellent understanding of organising information for publishing on the web.

    You need a good understanding of web standards and accessibility requirements to ensure content is published in a clear, well structured, accessible format, including requirements for documents, images and video. You will also have experience and knowledge of using web content management systems and Google Analytics (GA4).

    Working effectively both independently and as part of a team, you will be able to communicate confidently and diplomatically with external agencies and staff at different levels across the organisation to form successful and productive working relationships.

    The Directorate for Students attracts and supports an inclusive student body, ensuring students become sought-after graduates through career enhancement and a focus on wellbeing.

    Recruitment and Admissions at Kingston University forms a large department within the Student Directorate encompassing recruitment and admissions across home, EU and overseas students.

    It provides a strategic, operational and advisory service for the University on all aspects of recruitment and admissions. This includes course marketing, student recruitment, student admissions, website management and development, design & print, copywriting, editing as well as international development, visa and immigration advice, events and graduation services. Together we are committed to widening access and improving customer service across the entire applicant journey.

    This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £32,271 per annum.
