Job description

IT Services is a friendly, vibrant and fast moving department with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and high quality digital technology services to our staff and students.

We now seek to appoint an experienced Vulnerability Remediation Analyst. Reporting to the Cybersecurity and Network Manager you will be responsible for identifying, assessing and mitigating vulnerabilities across the University's IT infrastructure, enterprise systems and endpoints.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a computing related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of administering core IT infrastructure and endpoint platforms (Windows, MacOS, Linux, VMware) in a large, complex environment.
  • Experience of patching a wide range of operating systems, enterprise applications and systems.
  • Experience of using automated patching tools would be desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive and details orientated.
