  • About the Role

    Reporting to the Team Leader: Research Student Services, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient support to the Registrar and Director and the office of the Registrar and Director through enquiry resolution, diary and email management. You will also attend to a wide range of administrative tasks that call for sound judgement, initiative, customer service focus, and time management. In addition, you will support the Registrar and Director in the oversight of the Elite Athlete and Performer program.

    About Student and Academic Services The Student and Academic Services (SAS) unit is responsible for University- wide student and academic administration. Campus Central is the public face of SAS, and your first point of call for student or parent enquiries.

    SAS activities include:

  • Coordinating student administration activities – from admission to graduation
  • Providing services and assistance to students through Campus Central
  • Managing the academic policy framework
  • Managing student records
  • Providing information and analysis on related issues
  • Essential Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or significant equivalent knowledge and skills, and a demonstrated commitment to continual professional and personal development
  • Demonstrated achievement and a commitment to the provision of high-quality customer service and teamwork
  • Strong interpersonal and written skills, and an ability to successfully communicate with a diverse range of people including people from a range of cultural backgrounds and experience working with people at a variety of levels within an organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to make judgements about competing priorities, initiate appropriate independent action as necessary, and a high level of attention to detail
  • High level of organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to develop and maintain comprehensive information systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer information systems, particularly Outlook, the Microsoft Office suite, and Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in managing internal events, including booking rooms, ordering catering, booking guest speakers and liaising with relevant parties.
