We are looking to appoint an Undergraduate Student Recruitment Officer to promote the University of Bath as a destination for prospective undergraduate students.

You will be representing a Triple Top 10 UK University at student recruitment events across the UK. While you will have a national remit, due to the concentration of our target schools and events it would be beneficial to be based either at a commutable distance to our Bath campus or in the South East/Greater London area.

You will take a lead role in building vital relationships with key external stakeholders, including prospective students, teachers, parents, and career advisors. Recruitment activity will take place through both in-person and digital engagement, and you will be expected to engage effectively including through the delivery of impactful presentations and workshops.

Working within a supportive and motivated team, you will develop a broad knowledge of the University's undergraduate courses and of the value that a Bath degree offers to our graduates.

The UG Student Recruitment Team operates a hybrid working model, with a significant amount of home-working when not attending events. At present, team members normally work one or two days per week on campus, but we can consider offering greater flexibility should you already be based in the South East or Greater London.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to undergraduate degree level or equivalent
  • Experienced with working in a customer-focused environment
  • Knowledgeable about current issues in Higher Education
  • Able to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Willing to travel throughout the UK across evenings and weekends
  • Further information

The Undergraduate Student Recruitment Team is a friendly and supportive team of 7 responsible for the recruitment of undergraduate students from across the UK and Ireland, and forms part of the Directorate of Student Recruitment & Admissions.

The successful candidate will be expected to complete a full, satisfactory DBS check.

For an informal discussion about this role please contact Steven Lawrence, Head of UK Undergraduate Student Recruitment, at [email protected] or on 01225 383649.
