About the role

We are looking to appoint an Undergraduate Academic Administrator to assist with operational and delivery aspects relating to the delivery of the Biochemistry undergraduate course, which is a crucial aspect of the work of the Biochemistry Department. This will involve working closely with the Senior Academic Administrator, and the Directors of Teaching to ensure that all areas of the course are delivered effectively, as well as supporting other colleagues who are also involved in course provision.

This full-time permanent post is funded by the Department and is based at The Department of Biochemistry, South Parks Road, Oxford OX1 3QU.

This position is graded on the University's Grade 6 scale, for which the salary range is £34,982 - £40,855 per annum. Whilst the role is a grade 6 (£34,982 - £40,855 p.a.) position, we would be willing to consider candidates with potential but less experience who are seeking a development opportunity, for which an initial appointment would be at grade 5 (£31,459 - £36,616 p.a.) with the responsibilities adjusted accordingly. This would be discussed with applicants at interview/appointment where appropriate. The actual starting salary offered will be based on qualifications and relevant skills acquired.
