The Department of Finance of the CUHK Business School (also known as the Faculty of Business Administration) is looking for a high-calibre and dynamic individual to take up the position as Tutor who is willing to work in flexible working hours (including weekday evenings and weekends).
The appointee is expected to
provide research assistance/academics administration to instructors/lecturers/guests;
conduct tutorials for postgraduate courses;
conduct student consultation/supervision;
assist in student activities in peak seasons; and
undertake other assignments as assigned.
Applicants should have
a good Master's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics/Financial Engineering/Data Science or related fields with at least 3 years of relevant working experience, industry experience is a plus;
good finance/quantitative/programming skills;
good teaching and communication skills;
proficient English skills in both writing and speaking, Chinese is a plus (including Putonghua or Cantonese);
a meticulous attitude, a strong sense of responsibility and good interpersonal and management skill;
the ability to work independently as well as the spirit of team work; and
willingness to work under pressure and take up extra responsibilities.
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
