    The Role

    The Treasury Accountant at Goldsmiths University plays a crucial role in managing the institution's financial operations by overseeing the daily banking processes and leading cash flow forecasting initiatives. This role will also involve managing a team of two Treasury Assistants, as well as driving change through ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing financial efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

    The Financial Operations team, consisting of twelve members, reports to the Head of Financial Operations, who reports to the Deputy Director of Finance. This team comprises the College's Credit Control, Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Systems functions. Financial Operations manages a substantial portfolio, handling interactions with over 4,000 suppliers and serving more than 10,000 students annually.
