    Duties:

    100Under the guidance of the Travel Manager: • Work under general direction supporting the Travel Customer Service Office (TCSO) team by performing routine office/clerical tasks and duties as assigned/directed. • Work flexible hours between 8 AM and 5 PM normal business hours. • Provide professional customer service, using courtesy and tact with the TCSO customers, in-person and over the phone. • Duties and tasks include but are not limited to: preparing and distributing mail, answering the phone, photocopying, filing, data entry, faxing, compiling paperwork, assisting the TCSO team with projects as directed.Essential

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures and equipment. Possess basic clerical skills including typing, data entry and filing.
  • Competency with Microsoft OfficeSuite, Excel and other basic computer programs.
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Ability to follow written and oral instructions and have strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to exercise courtesy and tact with the Travel Customer Service Office customers, in-person and over the phone.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High degree of independence and problem-solving ability required.
  • Preferred Experience:

    Sufficient experience to perform the responsibilities of the position and to have acquired the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

    Required Education:

    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Applicant should be enrolled as a UA student in a minimum of 6 credits with a minimum GPA of 2.0, or a newly enrolled student in the current semester of employment; or have been enrolled in the preceding semester for 6 or more credit hours and demonstrate plans to enroll for 6 or more credit hours in the next semester for employment between semesters.

    Salary Information:

    This is a part-time temporary student position, starting pay is $16.50.

    Additional hours may be available during winter/summer breaks.
