  • About You

    You are a highly motivated administrator with travel agency experience. You have exceptional relationship building skills and a keen eye for detail. You take initiative and deliver results by seizing opportunities and provide solutions through logical, creative and innovative thinking.

    About the Role

    You will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international travel and associated activity for all staff, students and visitors travelling on behalf of the University.

    About the Finance Unit

    The Finance Unit is the central business unit which provides financial services to the University and is part of the Resources Portfolio led by the Chief Operating Officer. They are committed to implementing effective financial and commercial practices to support the University's needs. Achieving this will require the transformation of the finance function to be business partners to support the University to thrive in a competitive and rapidly evolving global environment.

    Essential Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience working in a travel agency with a minimum of 3 years' experience working with complex international itineraries
  • High level organisation and time management skills together with demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in managing multiple priorities, often with competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting and applying policy and procedures in a complex environment
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including preparation of written materials, and experience in the delivery of quality customer service
  • Experience in using all programs in the Microsoft Office suite, and the internet
