  • About the role

    The Transnational Education Program Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of the administrative and quality processes associated with the approval of, and onboarding of offshore English Language transnational programs and partners. An integral component of the role will be to manage the academic administration of the offshore English language programs and act as a conduit between the offshore partners and REW Learning and Teaching team for coordinating access and connection to systems for the smooth and timely delivery of programs offshore.

    Your roles and responsibilities will include (but aren't limited to):

  • Serve as the primary liaison between key RMIT UP stakeholders and contracted third-party partners to provide ongoing academic and program support.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen professional relationships with key RMIT and RMIT UP academic stakeholders.
  • Oversee offshore student enrolment and pathway processes, including managing enrolment in student management systems, ensuring access to learning management systems, and coordinating the distribution of learning resources.
  • Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting access and technical system issues, for students and partner teachers.
  • Ensure offshore programs (English language and Foundation Studies) operate within the guidelines of both onshore and offshore regulatory requirements, RMIT University policies, and contractual agreements.
  • Work closely with HR and the Deputy Directors of RMIT UP to support the recruitment and selection of teachers for offshore programs.
  • About You

    To be successful in this position you will have:

    Essential

  • Relevant three-year undergraduate qualification (teaching or other) with at least two years' experience in international education, TNE partner management, program management, or student administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tertiary institutions, ELICOS and/or Foundation Studies pathways, and regulatory requirements for international student pathways. Proven ability to navigate accreditation standards, university policies, and provide compliant, timely solutions.
  • Experience with the transnational student lifecycle, including key academic and administrative processes from enrolment to results. Familiarity with university systems for student enrolment and progression such as Learning Management Systems, Student Administration Systems, and Results Management Systems
  • Proven ability to manage and engage internal and external stakeholders in a complex educational environment, with strong interpersonal and cross- cultural communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, academic and professional staff while balancing competing priorities.
  • Current valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) is essential
  • Desirable

  • Experience as an ELICOS/Foundation Studies teacher both in Australia and overseas, especially China
  • Experience managing an ELICOS/Foundation Studies program both in Australia and overseas, especially China
  • Experience conducting quality audits or program reviews
  • Familiarity with university travel policies and procedures
