    The School of Water, Energy & Environment (SWEE) and Energy Theme welcomes applications from experienced administrators for the role of Training & Development Assistant, supporting the C-DICE Training Hub Development Manager.

    About the Role

    You will be working directly with the Training Hub Development Manager who is leading the Cranfield-based Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy (C-DICE). Your role will be to provide organisational and administrative support for the C-DICE training and development programme. This will involve working with professionals from both academia and industry. You will have responsibility for the organising and administration of online and face-to-face training sessions and events, conference and events bookings and efficiently communicating with enquirers, delegates, and training suppliers. The Training and Development Assistant will be based at Cranfield but work closely with colleagues at both Loughborough and Birmingham. They will be instrumental in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of a diverse range of courses and learning experiences for research professionals from both academia and industry.

    About You

    You will have a good level of education overall with a minimum Grade C GCSE in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications. You may also have a professional qualification relating to training or management, e.g. CIPD (Assoc), or administration e.g. ICDL. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 and ideally familiar with platforms such as Zoom and Teams.
