Be Part of a Remarkable Future

The University of Southampton's international strategy positions the University as a ‘Gateway to the World', deeply committed to making a positive social impact, transforming lives and enhancing prosperity across the globe.

A key driver of our strategy is to establish a network of campuses globally.

The Transnational Education (TNE) Growth Programme at the University of Southampton is responsible for this exciting agenda, which is unparalleled among UK higher education institutions in its scale and speed. The TNE Delivery Manager will lead on a major project within the Programme and so will have a key contribution to make to achieving the University's strategic objectives.

About the Role:

This is a new role in a high-performing and fast-paced team delivering a network of new international branch campuses and other at-scale partnership developments.

We need you, your energy and your expertise to take responsibility for the delivery of one specific project within the TNE Growth Programme whose portfolio includes India, Middle East & North Africa, South East Asia, Indonesia, and China.

You will work as part of a wider programme team in partnership with the Associate Director (TNE), the TNE Programme Manager, other Project Managers, and sponsors.

About You:

The project management aspects of one leading of the TNE Growth Programme projects mean that you will be capable of assimilating information quickly, highly organised and with great attention to detail.

You should be highly credible with senior management and adept at influencing, building relationships and communicating at all levels.

You must bring strong cross- and inter-cultural communication skills and a deep affinity for one or more of the markets our projects are based in.

Finally, the role will deliver activities globally, so you should be excited by the prospect of undertaking significant periods of travel overseas.

What we can offer you

As a University, and in the TNE Growth Team, we aim to create a positive environment where everyone can do their best work in a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity. We believe that we can only truly meet our objectives if we are reflective of society, so we are determined to create a working environment in which you can bring your whole self to work.
