Outline
The purpose of the Scholarship is to offer merit scholarships to support high-achieving Engineering students so they can concentrate on their studies.
Eligibility
Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen
Be a 3rd-year undergraduate student of a single or double degree in one the following degree program:
- School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering:
- Renewable Energy Engineering
- Photovoltaics and Solar Energy
- School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications:
- Electrical Engineering
- Telecommunications
- Quantum Engineering
- School of Civil and Environmental Engineering:
- Environmental Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering
- Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering
- Aerospace Engineering
- School of Minerals and Energy Resources Engineering:
- School of Chemical Engineering:
- Chemical Engineering
- Chemical Product Engineering
Selection
Applicants will be assessed on the basis of:
- Academic Merit
- Leadership skills (school, workplace or community)
- Extra-curricular activities (sporting, cultural activities, volunteer/work experience)
- Aptitude and commitment to studies in any of the areas identified above
Interviews
Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend an interview.

Unanswered application questions or claims without supporting documentation will not be assessed. Late applications/supporting documentation will not be accepted. Activities/Achievements recorded more than 3 years ago will not be considered in your application assessment
UNSW reserves the right not to award a scholarship, where there is no applicant of sufficient merit, or if the applicant does not meet the scholarship eligibility and/or selection criteria.
