Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our dynamic Testing
Practice. In this role, you will leverage the AWS platform to collaborate with
project teams and stakeholders, driving the implementation of new digital
applications while maintaining existing systems. Working independently, you
will deliver robust and reliable digital solutions that enhance the experience
of both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive test plans and cases aligned with business
requirements.
Execute functional, system, integration, UAT, and regression testing to
ensure high-quality solutions.
Report and retest defects while maintaining adherence to test scripting
standards.
Apply SQL expertise for database interrogation and support evidence-based
testing.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and DevOps
engineers to understand technical requirements.
Ensure compliance with testing strategies and best practices defined in
the Testing practice.
We are searching for someone with:
Extensive experience in software testing across Agile and Waterfall
methodologies.
Proven track record in AWS testing environments, with proficiency in tools
such as SoapUI, Postman and test management tools
ISTQB, AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or other relevant AWS certifications.
Strong ability to identify requirements gap, define test cases, track
defects, and conduct various testing types (e.g., integration,
regression, UAT, functional).
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach to working
across teams.
The ability to work autonomously and as part of an agile team.
Work Requirements:
Must have current work rights in Australia matching the tenure of the
role.
Based in Perth, WA. This position is a full-time, in office role –
whilst flexible working arrangements are available, candidates will be
expected to be onsite full time. Relocation and sponsorship support are
not available.
