Copenhagen Business School invites applications for one or more vacant Tenure Track in Accounting at the Department of Accounting.
Core research areas of the Department are (1) financial and sustainability accounting, (2) management accounting and control, (3) auditing, (4) corporate governance, all applicable to both private and public sectors. The objective of the Department is to remain and to expand its leadership role in research related to these areas in the Nordic countries and to preserve its strong international reputation for high quality research and teaching.
Teaching responsibilities of the Department comprise undergraduate and graduate teaching in Financial Accounting, Sustainability Accounting, Management Accounting, and Auditing.

The assistant professorship is a tenure track position with research and teaching obligations within the teaching and research areas of the department.
To fulfill the requirements of the position, the applicant(s) chosen is expected to be physically present on a regular basis and actively participate in the teaching and research activities of the Department. The successful applicant is obliged to participate in the Higher Education Teaching Excellent Programme (HETEP) at CBS on teaching principles and methods in order to fulfill the pedagogical requirements made at the end of the term of employment as assistant professor.
Responsibilities
The assistant professor is expected to contribute to the development and application of the research of the department's research areas and to maintain and strengthen CBS's international research position.
Qualification The applicant must hold a PhD or the equivalent. Emphasis is placed on the applicant's research potential, which means that a researcher with a large research potential may be preferred to a researcher with a large research production.
The applicant must have professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
