The New School is a comprehensive university, founded in 1919 and housing the globally ranked design school Parsons School of Design; a premier liberal arts college, Eugene Lang College; the renowned College of Performing Arts; the legendary New School for Social Research; and many more schools and programs designed for students who want to become innovators capable of improving the world through a blend of forward-looking creativity and intellectual rigor.
The position of Temporary Product and Asset Manager—part of the Digital Content team within Marketing and Communication—reports to the Associate Director of Digital Content. The Digital Content team is responsible for the management, pre/post production, and distribution of time-based (video, motion, audio), non-time-based (photography/graphics) digital assets that support and advance, and overseeing and managing our various admin platforms. The New School's many marketing initiatives, including brand awareness and promotion of the university's colleges, schools, offerings, and community.
This position requires a motivated, experienced, and solutions oriented individual who can coordinate, manage, and lead the management of our digital content management systems. In addition, this individual must project manage ongoing administrative platforms and must be able to determine the business requirements of projects, deliver assets on time and on budget, and work closely with other members of the Marketing and Communication Department, university partners (including university leadership), and external vendors.

WORK MODE
Hybrid/Remote – Employees hired for this position primarily work remotely with the occasional on-campus presence required with advanced notice. Employees in this role will also be expected to use their best judgment to be on campus when necessary in order to best fulfill the responsibilities of their job descriptions. Open to making this a fully remote position dependent on skill level.
WAGE
$35.00 – $45.00 Per Hour
