This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.

The College of Design, Creative and Digital Industries at the University of Westminster is looking for a passionate and creative individual to support and lead our Fashion and Print technical areas. With our Fashion and Print disciplines firmly established, boasting robust international partnerships and leading-edge projects, we are at the forefront of academic and technical innovation. Our commitment to sustainable education and practice is reflected in the continuous development and growth of our technical areas.

As the Team Leader for Fashion and Print, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused technical support. Your role will entail the development and leadership of the technical team, collaborating with the Head Technician to oversee the team, facilities, and resources that support the College's teaching, research, and knowledge exchange activities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a degree in Creative Art and Design or a related discipline, coupled with a proven track record in people management, a thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices, and experience in training users on equipment and processes. Your expertise may lie in digital print, printmaking, fashion, textiles, or a combination of these areas.
