We are looking for a Research Technician to support the delivery of research in the broad area of dental materials science. The successful candidate will be required to assist with the day-to-day running of research activities through providing a relevant skills base to underpin numerous research projects in dental materials and biomaterials science in a mixed-disciplinary setting. You will support academic research projects to completion.

You will provide a service that is flexible to meet the changing needs of the academic environment and provide feedback to academic staff about the overall progress of work.

You will promote teamwork and a culture of collegiality and mutual respect; be willing to support colleagues by undertaking tasks outside your normal role where necessary. Experience in training others in scientific techniques or explaining standard laboratory procedures is essential.
