Sheffield Hallam University Technical Operations Resources and Services (TORS) are excited to welcome a new team supporting the utilisation of software in direct student support and self-directed learning. If you are passionate about teamwork, customer service, facilitation of learning, then we could be welcoming you as our new Technical Specialist.

You will be working with a team, facilitating teaching and self-directed study groups across our Computing taught portfolio using programming languages such as C#, C++, Python or Java script, within the visual studio IDE or VS Code editor.

You should have experience in the use of the .NET framework environment to create Web Applications which incorporate libraries and frameworks involving any of the above languages.

You do not need to be an expert across all our computing related activities; however, you do need a can-do attitude, be adaptable and flexible to enable you to trouble shoot during sessions you are facilitating.
