Technical Officer in the Department of Anaesthesiology of the School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531176) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or above in science or related disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin), in addition to excellent communication, organizational, problem- solving and laboratory skills. Related work experience and/or knowledge of safety procedures would be an advantage.
The appointee is expected to oversee the operation of the Department laboratories, including management of lab facilities and consumables, development and implementation of standard operation protocols, organization of users training and workshops, assistance of administrative duties, and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
