Technical Officer (several posts) in the Department of Pathology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 524544) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 2 years' relevant work experience in biological sciences. The appointees will work on a gastrointestinal cancer research project under the supervision of Professor S.Y. Leung (https: // www. patho.hku.hk/en/Our- Team/Academic/Department-Chairperson/Professor-LEUNG-Suet-Yi-Item/Professor- LEUNG-Suet-Yi). They will provide technical support on tissue culture works, handle mouse models, and perform other duties as assigned. Working-off-campus may be required. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
