Technical Officer (several posts) in the Division of Nephrology of the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 527283) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Master's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Biological Sciences or a related discipline. They should be responsible, highly motivated and able to work independently. Proficiency in statistical programs (e.g. SPSS, R language, Python) and database management (e.g. Excel) is a prerequisite. Those with expertise in handling and analyzing big data or bioinformatics will have advantages. Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) is expected.

The appointees will be responsible for statistical analysis and database management, participating in clinical research projects or assisting in research experiments, and other ad hoc duties as required.
