The School of Applied Sciences are looking to appoint a Technical Instructor to our Geoscience department, with the successful candidate supporting research and teaching activities within the core subject areas of Geography, Ecology, and Environmental Science. In this varied role, you will use your subject knowledge to assist with the delivery of practical module content and help students with laboratory and field techniques to aid them with project work.

In the labs, this role will support staff and students, providing induction and training to users, give guidance on appropriate sample preparation methods and operate a broad range of analytical instruments including ICP, XRF, Laser Particle Size Analysis and Water Quality Testing.
