Teaching Associate (Researcher Development)

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Associate (Researcher Development) based within the Cambridge Centre for Teaching and Learning (CCTL). We are the University's central provider of professional development activity for postgraduate research (PGR) students. Our team work in partnership across the collegiate university to design and coordinate a diverse programme of activities and resources for postgraduate researchers, as well as acting as a hub for postgraduate researcher development provision in the University.

We are seeking someone who is creative and has exceptional planning, facilitation, organisational and interpersonal skills to help shape and deliver our programme of development support for our postgraduate research students.

The successful applicant will have a doctoral-level qualification (or equivalent), some relevant experience and will be encouraged to bring a highly professional and proactive approach to the role. With strong communication and organisational skills, you will be comfortable working both independently as well as collaboratively, both within and outside the immediate team. This will require an ability to forge productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will also be able to switch between tasks and manage multiple projects to competing deadlines. You will join a busy and engaged team with support available to enhance your own professional development.

If you have experience and understanding of the context and challenges of postgraduate research, awareness of PGR policy and wider research culture, and enjoy working with colleagues and postgraduate research students to support their development, then we would welcome your application for this key role in our team.
