Teaching Assistant in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526843) (to commence in August 2024 for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have a Bachelor's or a postgraduate degree in anthropology, biology, economics, genetics, neuroscience, psychology, sociology, or a related discipline. Those with a good track record or experience in teaching are preferred. The appointee is expected to conduct small-group tutorials for students of the Common Core Courses “Genetics and Human Nature (https:// commoncore.hku.hk/ccst9025/)” and “Evolution of Civilization (https:// commoncore.hku.hk/ccgl9042/)”, to engage in the preparation of course materials and the assessment of students, as well as to deal with administrative matters regarding the courses.
