The School of Journalism and Communication invites applications for the post of Teaching Assistant for MSSc in Corporate Communication and MSc in New Media programmes.
Applicants should have (i) a Master or higher degree in Communication or a related field; (ii) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua); and (iii) good teaching, communication, audiovisual production and IT skills.
The appointee will (a) assist in tutorial classes, laboratory sessions and fieldwork, (b) assist in preparing teaching materials, (c) coordinate student activities, (d) monitor web-based projects, (e) assist in study tours, (f) coordinate teaching and programme activities, and (g) perform other related duties as assigned.
The appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing August 2024, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
