The School of Accountancy of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is now inviting applications for the position of Teaching Assistant for its undergraduate and master programmes.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree in accounting. In addition, applicants should have (i) good command of spoken English, (ii) good presentation skills; (iii) a meticulous attitude, a strong sense of responsibility as well as good interpersonal skills; and (iv) willingness to work under pressure. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview.

The appointee will assist professors and lecturers in lectures, tutorials, preparing course materials, grading, student consultation, examination invigilation and other academic activities as assigned. He/she will also work with other administrative staff in the department to support various school events / student activities.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance. We offer highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and develop academic skills, which could enhance a candidate's eligibility for more advanced teaching support roles within the School of Accountancy in the future.
